How did you get your start and what attracted you to iNova?
Jinny: I have always been drawn to building things from the ground up. I started in eCommerce at the cusp of the eCommerce boom in Southeast Asia and gained first-hand experience launching the marketplace model for the first large scale eCommerce platform in Thailand. Later, I co-founded a content creator platform, worked in a tech ride-hailing company during its early expansion phase, and then moved into FMCG and consumer healthcare space to set up eCommerce across multiple markets. I joined iNova because of its energising pace, empowering culture that enables teams to quickly turn ideas into impact, and collaborative spirit across teams.
Brian: My career spans digital marketing, media strategy, and technology adoption. What attracted me to iNova was the opportunity to start with a clean slate and lead transformation within a purpose-driven organisation, combine my expertise with a mission that improves health outcomes while collaborating with great people. iNova never stands still, and that motivates me to keep exploring new ways to integrate digital into everything we do by enhancing accessibility and consumer experiences.
What is a typical day for you at iNova?
Jinny: No two days look the same and that’s the beauty of it. One day I am meeting with our eCommerce platform partners to cement a joint business plan, the next I am setting up the infrastructure required for our new eCommerce market expansion or solving a bottleneck for a new product launch online with my team. Every day is different and the ability to both scale up to strategy and zoom back into execution energises me.
Brian: Same for me. My days range from governance workshops on AI transformation to collaborating across the business covering everything from future thinking, creative optimisation, media strategy, and reviewing our eCommerce performance metrics, ensuring we’re tracking progress and identifying opportunities to maximise results. It’s dynamic, and that’s what makes it fulfilling.
Is there a project that you are proud of?
Jinny: The past year has shown how eCommerce can accelerate access to brands that support health and wellbeing for people around the world. Our efforts were recognised with five awards at the Asia eCommerce Awards 2025. I am excited to further grow our eCommerce presence in 2026 and expand access to our broad range of health and wellbeing products to consumers, ensuring they have access to the products they need, when they need them.
Brian: Being part of our AI Transformation Governance Committee has been a highlight for me. We have brought cross-functional teams together, run workshops, and set the foundation for projects that will shape how we use AI to enhance consumer experiences and ultimately consumer health.
What do you look forward to in the new year?
Jinny: I am looking forward to deepening partnerships with our partners and finding new ways to extend relationships with our offline retailers into the online space as well. I am also excited to use eCommerce as a go-to-market channel and continuing to grow with my team. Most of all, I cannot wait to see more ideas come to life and deliver real impact for consumers around the world.
Brian: I am excited about continually scaling our digital transformation across all we do and collaborating even more closely with our global teams to share best practice and create solutions together. This year, we will harness value from our fast-evolving AI capabilities to unlock smarter consumer engagement and operational efficiency. The potential to personalise experiences and improve health outcomes through technology is enormous, and we are well-positioned to lead in this space.
What is your favourite iNova product and why?
Jinny: Betadine Cold Defense Nasal Spray. It is my go-to when my kids show early signs of cold and flu.
Brian: Demazin for cold and flu season, and Betadine Antiseptic Cream. It is a staple with two kids at home.
