In 2023 iNova Australia celebrated six years of our community ‘iGive’ program and our first year of our new partnership with Barnardos Australia.
Throughout 2023 our two organisations worked together to help improve the lives of children in need in our community through a range of activities.
Kicking off the year in January, iNova Australia launched it’s 2023 Workplace Giving program where many employees choose to opt-in and contribute small, regular donations to Barnardos Australia, with the company matching every dollar throughout the year, up to (AUD)$50,000.
In June our Sydney team jumped at the chance to host a very special event inviting little members of a local Barnardos Childrens’ Centre to visit our Chatswood office for a fun and interactive day, the highlight of which was a hands-on session with the wonderful mobile team from Taronga Zoo.
Throughout September, iNova teams around the world rolled-up their sleeves and participated in our annual iHealth Challenge which aims to help our employees create healthy habits with a focus on physical health, mental health and community heath.
For every member of iNova who signed up to the challenge, the company pledged to make a community donation. By the end of the iHealth Challenge, not only did our team invest many hours into their own health, iNova ANZ was thrilled to make a $4000 donation to Barnardos.
In November iNova employees stepped up to volunteer at the pop-up ‘Peter Pan Op Shop Event’, one of Barnardos Australia’s most iconic fundraising events that has been running for 85 years.
And finally in December iNova donated a range of office furniture to the Barnardos Children Centre, a wonderful, shared community space for children and families to connect.
Looking back over 2023 we are incredibly proud of how our Australian team came together to help Barnardos Australia deliver essential services to Australian families in need through financial donations, special engagement events and volunteering activities.
We are looking forward to another impactful year with Barnardos Australia in 2024!
