This cross-sector initiative, known as Gen Bening (Brave Exploring Generation), aims to create more opportunities for children to explore, play and learn through real-world experiences. It aligns with the broader objectives of PP Tunas and reinforces the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration in supporting children’s development.
Pediatrician Dr. Lucky Yogasatria, Sp.A, noted that children learn through direct experiences such as playing, falling and trying again, with minor wounds forming a natural part of this process. He emphasised the importance of helping parents feel prepared and confident, including through appropriate antiseptic care that protects while soothing the skin.
As part of the initiative, interactive sessions with the Mom Academy community and media participants were conducted across guided formats, where child-friendly (“kids-approved”) activities were co-created to ensure they are simple, relevant and easily applied in everyday routines.
At iNova Pharmaceuticals, we believe supporting children’s wellbeing requires a collective effort across families, healthcare professionals and communities.
Anastasya Ratu Chaerani, Brand Manager Wound Care at iNova Pharmaceuticals Indonesia, said, “For more than five decades, Betadine has supported Indonesian families across generations. Through Gen Bening, we aim to help children stay active and confident, while giving parents reassurance to support every stage of their development.”
